The Maha Jwala Narasimha Temple is situated just past South Gate Mall in Johannesburg South Africa. The temple is home to Lord Maha Jwala Narasimha who watches over everyone with love. The temple was built by a community that comes together with the aim of uplifting not only the community at hand but everyone in South Africa.
The various events, workshops and prayers mean that everyone’s spiritual path is catered for. No matter what your understanding or belief the Maha Jwala Narasimha temple will be able to help you open your heart and move forward on your spiritual path.
Atma Kriya Initiation, Om Healing, Satsang, Abishek, Yagna’s, Prayers and more are a constant help to us as we endeavour as individuals and a community to move towards the light.
During Guru Purnima as we sang and did various prayers dedicated to Mahavatar Kriya Babaji (from Auto Biography of a Yogi) the energy reached such a high vibration of beauty and love culminating in Babaji leaving his footprint for us on the temple floor. A small altar dedicated to Babaji has been setup as we honour the divinty that is Mahavatar Kriya Babaji.
